How to add purchase
Mar 21 Déc 2010 - 9:01
I used the sample to create an transaction whose type is 1. It was good and it create an entry both in invoice and AR. How to create a purchase? Where it will go?
In addition: how to add GL account to each invoice line? Is it possible to apply different tax code to each invoice line?

Hi,
Q1. To add a Purchase, you can still use Transaction, invoicing type will be set to 5.
from the SDK help file :
Q2. For the GL question, I believe this can be done with property ILCharterNumber, which link the line to a specific account number...
Q3. To set a different tax rate on each invoicing line you might want to have a look
on the property ILTaxLineRate[1..TANumLines, 1..5]
Don't make my mistake to set it to a percent rate, that will fail ! If you read carefully the description, it mentions you need to push an integer from 0 to 9 corresponding to TaTaxRate[0..9] property from table Tax.
Good luck,
hench

Thank you Hence:
I tried to change invoice type and invoice line type, I also changed customer info to supplier info, but I got error code 11. What would be my problem?
For the other two, I will try.

You got it pal
You will want to reserve card first !
I wonder if there is a way to switch SDK languages to english, I presume that would be much easier for you.
Hehe, you may want to contact Fortune1000 help desk about this !!

I still haven't got it. I set ILCharterNumber equal to GL account, for example 4001, but the value is not there. It always gets the GL account I set in product group which is 4010. Could anybody help please? Thanks.
Jenny
